The alerts dialogs are sort of complex, rigid, and all over the place. Figure something out that's more consistent.

  • Users should have some sort of CTA when in a particular context (a space, chat, room, or content-type area) to toggle alerts for that context.
  • Users should be able to manage, create, edit, and delete alerts in a single place in a simple and intuitive way that reconciles high-granularity (relay + room + content type) with ease.
  • Users should be able to leverage bookmarked spaces and rooms to create and dynamically update alert settings.
  • Users should be able to enable alerts for events in which they have been mentioned if they would not otherwise be notified about that content.
