The design of the left top corner (on desktop) is a bit confusing. When I see that purple dot next to the group logo, I perceive it as a sign of the group I am currently in. (But turns out it's a notification that there are unread messages). I suggest to either highlight the icon of the group (make a noticeable rim around the logo of the group, in which I am in), or to add the group logo to the top Title of the group. Otherwise I am confused in which group I currently am.
