I vibe-coded some designs and an initial PR: https://gitea.coracle.social/coracle/flotilla/pulls/new/redesign

This can't be merged as-is, but there is some good stuff in here we should get into a PR. Ideally we would re-design the app more fully, but I don't want to wait for a designer right now, so let's just incrementally improve what we have.

Stuff to bring in:

  • The hover/active state for the space in the side rail and nav items (see attached video)
  • Re-work chat bubbles so that the user's messages are primary color
  • Use the color scheme in the PR, it looks less washed out
  • Improve the chat input based on the mockups. The send button should look like a button and be disabled if no content has been entered.
  • Use Baloo 2 for the display font
  • Add a border to the right side of the secondary nav
