Originally suggested this in the Summer of Bitcoin discovery space. For context, the idea was to make self-hosting accessible to users who want sovereignty but aren't comfortable with manual repo setup. Right now clicking "Self-host" in Flotilla drops users into the zooid repo, which is a hard wall for non-technical organizers.
The fix would be one-click deploy buttons for popular platforms (cloud providers, sovereignty-focused home servers, and a generic VPS path), each handling the config and env vars automatically. From zooid's README the relay is a single OCI container with config-file mounts, which is exactly the shape these one-click template systems are built for. Should be very feasible to wire up.
Flagging this is a parking-lot note from my side, for SoB I'm focused on the Coracle hosted flow, but happy to come back to this after the program if it's still useful.
